Why the website?

Simply because the Internet market for selling of puppies have exploded.  Because there is NO federal or state agency responsible to insure the puppies are bred, born or raised humanely, the parents receive proper veterinary attention or the general public is not ripped off financially and emotionally .  Because unscrupulous people prey on the emotions of those looking for a puppy and seldom get brought to justice, nor do the buyers receive refunds, healthy puppies or compensation for their emotional and mental anguish over a transaction going so badly!

The goal

It would be nice to see legislation and regulation over this billion-dollar pet trade industry.  When enough buyers get ripped off and enough puppies die, maybe something will be done.Dog Template

Until that time, the best we can do is to educate the general public and hope they ONLY buy a puppy from a REPUTABLE breeder or adopt from their local shelter.  Those are the only two moral, ethical and safe options for petshops are the outlets of the puppy mills and backyard breeders are one step below that.
